little ninjas

What a pleasure to see all the new little ninjas joining Ju-jitsu. Its great to see supportive parents getting their kids active and away from the computer or games console.

Learning ju-jitsu is not just about learning new motor skills but there are everyday benefits that "fall" out of working with others and being part of a group. These life skills will transfer over into school and home life creating lovely well rounded children that will mature into fine young adults.

Teaching children comes with its own rewards such as fun and laughter but the serious side is that if we show them how others should be treated they will reflect this positive attitude as they grow up.

Lets keep being positive role models for our children and help give them extra focus in life to be proud, confident, kind and respectful.

Wow what a day Sunday was. The ladies self defence workshop at the centre was a great success, we had a fantastic turn out. Well done to all those who showed up with a spirited attitude, you showed the stooges that you meant business. There will be others coming soon so if you want to learn some real life changing skills get involved and book yourself on the next one. till next time, Clare

A common misbelief regarding children enrolled in kids’ karate classes is that they are always ready for a fight. However, enrolling your child in a karate class is likely to have the opposite effect, since some of the most important lessons a martial arts instructor teaches your child are self-defense and discipline.

Once I became a parent in the future, I will make sure to let my children feel my support. I believe that this will help them feel motivated and loved which is what we should make them feel of course. Anyway, after hearing about this program about the kids being little ninjas, I can't help but feel like I need to see some pictures of them with their costumes. I would like to see how cute they all are! I would also like to see their smiles which symbolize their happiness and support for their children.
